Tata Motors group global wholesales grow by 6 pc at 79,959 units

The Tata Motors Group global wholesales, including Jaguar Land Rover, were 79,959 nos. in November 2010, a growth of 6 pc over November 2009. Cumulative sales for the fiscal (April 2010 - November 2010) are 678,598, higher by 30 pc compared to the corresponding period in 2009-10.
Global sales of all commercial vehicles - Tata, Tata Daewoo and the Tata Hispano Carrocera range -- were 40,244 nos. in November 2010, a growth of 21 pc. Cumulative sales for the fiscal are 314,567 nos., a growth of 29 pc.
Global sales of all passenger vehicles were 39,715 nos. in November 2010, lower by 6 pc. Cumulative sales for the fiscal are 364,031 nos., a growth of 32 pc.
Global sales of Jaguar Land Rover in November 2010 were 22,957 vehicles, higher by 22 pc. Jaguar sales for the month were 5,621 nos., higher by 30 pc, while Land Rover sales were 17,336 nos., higher by 20 pc. Cumulative sales of Jaguar Land Rover for the fiscal are 154,089 nos., higher by 33 pc. Cumulative sales of Jaguar are 38,620 nos., higher by 22 pc, while cumulative sales of Land Rover are 115,469 nos., higher by 37 pc.
Global sales of Tata passenger vehicles and the distribution offtake in India of Fiat cars were 16,758 nos. for the month, lower by 29 pc. Cumulative sales for the fiscal are 209,942 nos., a growth of 31 pc.
